Sarah Adcock
Hi I’m Sarah, a licensed massage therapist of 11 years. I attended the massage program at Southern Union Community College in Opelika, AL in 2012-2013. Once I was licensed I began working for one of my massage teachers at the Auburn University medical clinic. My personal life relocated me to Newnan, GA where I began working for a well known massage chain. While working there i worked my way up to a lead therapist/trainer. During the nearly 4 years I worked for the chain I learned prenatal, hot stone, stretching services 🙆🏼♀️ as well as enhancements. Then my personal life took me back to Alabama at the exact time a hotel was opening a brand new luxury spa 🧖♂️ While working there I learned body scrubs, body treatments, new enhancements and thai poultice massage. The luxury spa also helped shift my perspective on massage therapy to really enhance the experience and not only focus on pain management without any relaxation benefit. During this time I also was a contractor for an old teacher that did travel massage on the Auburn University campus. We worked with all types of athletes from basketball, gymnastics, baseball, track and field and swimming. Then my personal life took another turn and brought me to Clarksville, TN. During my first year in Clarksville I was in need of a break and only offered travel massage to neighbors and friends while also becoming a petsitter/dog walker. Then I decided to work for a local business because i wanted something low stress. When I was ready I left for a larger luxury spa in Nashville. During my time at the larger spa i learned more enhancements and body treatments. Now my family is ready to put down roots and stick around Clarksville long term so I’ve decided to put all my best skills towards working for myself. I’m looking forward to serving the Clarksville community for many years to come.
